MEDICARE:

I am experienced in working with children, adolescents and adults. Currently, I accept referrals for clients of all ages if I believe I can contribute towards their healing and wellbeing. 

I offer a 15-minute complimentary call to connect and see if my service is the right one for you. If you choose to go ahead, all sessions are 50-60 minutes ($205). 

A Medicare Rebate of $85.20 per session is available under the Australian Government’s Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. To access this rebate, you will need to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan with your GP prior to our first appointment together. This plan supports a Medicare Rebate of 10 sessions per calendar year. I also provide services under the Chronic Disease Management Plan which supports 5 sessions per calendar year.

PRIVATE HEALTH COVER: 

If you are insured through Bupa, HCF or Teachers Health Fund (including UniHealth and Nurses and Midwives Health), you may be able to claim with your private health insurer after your appointment. Benefits paid by these funds vary depending on the level of ancillary cover and your eligibility. If you would like to pre-determine how much your private health will cover, please check with your health insurer before our first session. Please be aware you can't claim both private health and Medicare for each session. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

Please provide 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or postpone an appointment, otherwise a $205 non-attendance fee may apply. Please note that Medicare and private health do not cover non-attendance/cancellations fees. 

MEDICARE SAFETY NETS:

It may be beneficial to contact Medicare to find out if you have met your Medicare threshold. If you have reached the threshold, then you may be eligible to receive up to 90% of the fee in a rebate. To explore this further, please follow the link below:
